Maman Brigitte (Mother Brigitte) sometimes also written as Manman Brigitte and also known by Gran Brigitte, Grann Brigitte, Manman, Manman Brigit, and Maman Brijit is a death loa (Loa) (or lwa) and the consort of Baron Samedi.She drinks rum infused with hot peppers and is symbolized by a black rooster. Maman Brigitte protects graves in Haitian cemeteries that are marked by the cross of Baron Samedi. Graves that are protected by Brigitte are marked by a mound of stones. In Vodou practice, the first burials serve as offerings to either Baron Samedi or Maman Brigitte depending on the gender of the person being laid to rest. If the deceased person is male then the grave is dedicated to Baron Samedi; if the deceased person is female then the grave is dedicated to Maman Brigitte

Hailey Rose is a welder and theatre technician from Atlanta, but she’s best known as a content creator who daily drives a hearse. She has a sunny disposition and fascination with all-things macabre, which she weaves together into her unique brand of Southern Gothic. Think of her as your friendly neighborhood goth girl. She has a strong sense of mischief and enjoys finding ways to push back on the status quo, such as regularly updating her hearse’s “OnlyFunerals.” She is so excited to attend her first Vampire Ball!

In 2023 local New Orleans artist Ricardo Pustanio was commissioned by Father Sebastiaan to create busts of three goddesses. These three amazing busts of Kali, Hekate and Lilith were on display at the House of Blues New Orleans on Halloween weekend during the Endless Night Vampire Ball 2023 “Temple of the Dark Goddess.” On August 20th 2024 (x-apple-data-detectors://embedded-result/448) we will be auctioning off these three busts, each starting with an opening bid of $666 on EndlessNight.com (http://EndlessNight.com). Our beneficiary is KreweduPink.org (http://KreweduPink.org), a local women’s breast cancer charity in New Orleans. The proceeds, after agency fees of 10% will be split evenly between the artist Ricardo and a breast cancer charity delivered in time for Beast Cancer awareness month in October. The busts w ill ship out within 10 days after the auctions close. Let’s support artists and worthy charities.
