We were saddened to hear of Jackie Clarkson's passing. She was a force of nature in New Orleans and an invaluable part of our Le Petit history, serving on our Board in various roles, including as Vice President.

Her enthusiasm spread to those around her, and she was always ready for spirited conversation. We're sure all who knew her will feel the loss of her presence. We send our condolences to her family and loved ones, and we will miss her at Le Petit.

As Brad Rhines states in his review of EARNEST, "Costume designer Kaci Thomassie creates fabulous looks for each character, from the men’s tailcoats, ascots and wingtip boots, to the ladies’ colorful layered dresses and elaborate flower-and-plume hats." You have one last chance to come see these amazing costumes in action. And the looks wouldn't be complete without the gorgeous wig/hair work and makeup from Laurin Hart and her team.

The final performance of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST starts at 3 pm today. Get your tickets at LePetitTheatre.com now, or you can call (504.522.2081) or stop in to the box office starting at Noon.

Our last, but absolutely not least, show for the 2024-25 season is AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' The Fats Waller Musical Show! It will run at this time next year, from June 5-22, and although it's not a biography, AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' evokes the delightful humor and infectious energy of this American original.

The inimitable Thomas "Fats" Waller rose to international fame with a jumpin' new beat, swing music. A versatile cast struts, strums, and sings the songs that he made famous. AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' is the winner of the 1978 Tony Award® for Best Musical. Full-season packages are now available at LePetitTheatre.com, with flexible partial packages and single-show tickets on-sale later this year. See you at the theatre!
