Tune in tonight as Steppin Out Host Peggy Scott Laborde welcomes Poppy Tooker and Denise Frazier, programming director for Prospect 6, a citywide contemporary art exhibition that takes place every three years.

Also appearing is Michael Paternostro, who is starring in “Good Night Oscar,” based on the life of famed pianist and raconteur Oscar Levant. Paternostro performs and previews the production.

Laborde and Tooker will pay special tribute to Steppin’ Out movie critic Alfred Richard, who passed away recently. Steppin' Out will be broadcast on WYES TONIGHT Thursday, Jan. 9 at 7pm and streamed on wyes.org. It will also be repeated on Friday, Jan. 10 at 10:30pm.

After the program’s initial broadcast, it will be available on WYES & PBS apps and will be shown on WYES' YouTube Channel.

They're both playing characters who actually existed, like Michael and Leslie are as the Levants.
