We were determined to get through the ceremony today despite the downpour of rain and hurricane force winds. The poor bride’s veil flew off her head and I was soaking wet from head to toe.
With everything going wrong, this was the most heartfelt ceremony I ever witnessed. After the couple exchanged vows, the bride read vows to her new stepdaughter and tears flowed. The bond between them is so strong I thought she was the bride’s daughter.
