NOCCA Foundation is NOCCA’s nonprofit partner, providing supplemental funding for NOCCA and advocacy for its world-class program. Some of the Institute’s more notable endeavors include: a Student Success Program that pays for students’ classroom supplies as well as fees associated with important summer training programs across the country; an Artists-in-Residence Program that brings more than 100 professional visiting artists into NOCCA’s classrooms each year; the capital campaign for NOCCA’s current home and expansion projects like Press Street Gardens; a wide array of arts classes for adults; and concert, gallery, and literary events for the community. The Foundation also oversees rentals of the NOCCA campus, making it available to arts organizations, individuals, corporations, and other groups. Since NOCCA's earliest days, faculty have stressed the importance of "the process"--the long hours spent planning a work, rehearsing it, receiving critique, and revising things that aren't quite right. That's where the process of creation really takes place.

In a world brimming with content--movies, images, books, and more--it's rare to find a place that considers the process just as important as the finished product. That's just one of the things that makes NOCCA so special.

You can support this school by making a gift today at NOCCAFoundation.org/givingtuesday.

Today is , a counterpart to the shopping rush that unofficially begins the day after Thanksgiving. Instead of buying, today is about giving to the nonprofits in our communities.

Since our One Day/One NOCCA giving day was on November 14, we won't be flooding your feed with posts today. However, if you weren't able to contribute then, now is the perfect time to show your support for NOCCA and celebrate its 50 years of training young artists. Make your gift today at NOCCAFOUNDATION.ORG/GIVING23.
