New Orleans Jazz Market The NOJM is a performing arts venue, private event space, and Jazz community center in Central City New Orleans. We are home to the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra.

The New Orleans Jazz Market’s home is on Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard. Formerly Dryades Street, this Central City neighborhood produced Jazz legends such as Buddy Bolden, Kid Ory and Jelly Roll Morton. The neighborhood was flourishing, culturally diverse and home to African American, Jewish and Italian merchants in the early to mid-1900s. In the years since Hurricane Katrina, Central City has exp

erienced a resurgence in business and foot traffic. The Jazz Market is a proud part of Central City’s redefinition as a bolder and brighter place.
