"The mark of an incredible artist and product is the ability to make it look and seem effortless. This unfortunately is an awesome thing as well as a terrible thing in some cases because when a client looks at a finished product and it looks so effortless, they only see what sits before them. They don’t see the hours and hours of meticulous labor, the years of creating a functioning business, the painstaking search for the perfect suppliers with the best raw materials etc… I try my best to educate the bride on the incredible journey that her flowers will take from seed to farm to harvest to flying halfway across the world to the supplier and finally into our hands where it is processed, groomed and painstakingly arranged in the hands of an educated designer. Opening up the behind the scenes of day to day operations truly gives our clients an entirely new appreciation for what she is ordering and what will be delivered on her wedding day. They love to see the process and the story behind what they are investing in."

We asked Shauna Altes, designer and co-founder of Arrangements Floral Studio, to share tips for brides on working with her company and the planning process.

I abolsutely loved working on this concept shoot with Amalie and Becky.. Amalie is an incredible photographer and artist as well as a savvy business lady and Becky is an incredible event planner ~ They deigned the concept of the shoot from start to finish and let me run wild with the floral pieces. I think it is a great inspiration for a christmas wedding with all the emerald and white and gold. So classy and beautiful ! Click on the link to see the full gallery!

Chelsea had such a sweet fun wedding at Cypress Grove Estate House in May. Her flowers were really gorgeous with shades of blush and cream with pops of white anemone's, Lisianthus, Seeded Eucalyptus and beautiful garden roses
