Here is an update to the available purchase of Seaside Soirees and Weddings based in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. If you wish to develop your own brand, thereby not needing any of the items that include the Seaside Soirees and Weddings name, we are also offering the scope of the sale without that. The new scope would now only include the following:
All back-of-the-house documents and tools
All front-of-the house documents and tools
The copyrighted Wedding Manual
Two well-stocked emergency kits
Venue information lists for the Volusia County market
Vendor information for the Volusia County market
Twenty hours of training and familiarization of the company's approach to carrying out the buisness of wedding and event planning for the Buyer
And if you plan to launch your new company outside the Volusia County market, the venue and vendor information lists for the Volusia County market could also be deleted.

The well-established wedding and event company, Seaside Soirees and Weddings (based in Volusia County) is For Sale!

This company was founded by long-time wedding planner, Susie Weiss, who also owned another planning company in Winter Park from 1989 to 2016. Just like a sparkler exit at a wedding, Susie is gracefully ending her 34-year career as a wedding planner! Susie is selling the company because she has launched a new business (unrelated to weddings!)

The sale of the company would include the following:
Rights to the Seaside Soirees and Weddings name
The Seaside Soirees and Weddings logo
The Seaside Soirees and Weddings email address
The Seaside Soirees and Weddings website address
The Seaside Soirees and Weddings page
All back-of-house documents and tools used to carry out the business
All front-of-house documents and tools used to carry out the business
The copyrighted Wedding Manual (given to each client)
A well-stocked emergency kit (the container and its contents)
The marketing banner that is used at bridal events
Venue information lists for the Volusia County market
Vendor information lists for the Volusia County market
Twenty hours of training and familiarization of the company's approach to carrying out the business of wedding planner

This past Saturday we worked with Lauren and Bobby for their wedding at The Mulberry in New Smyrna Beach! This was the second wedding in that family; always the ultimate compliment to get asked back again! It had been a rough week leading up to it due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ian for many of the team. But everyone pulled together to make this a beautiful night! A great team of vendors: Kohen & Company, Treats and Sweets, Roeshink Entertainment, Pink Flamingo at Petals, Riverside Catering, Beauty by Lauren and Celebrant Dr. Mary Alice Myers. Today is the 5th anniversary of Seaside Soirees and Weddings! Five years, you say, is maybe not much of a milestone. But what went before that, another 27 years of wonderful Wonderful Weddings, is the cornerstone of this company! We owe much of our successes to all the hundreds of couples who have entrusted this important day to us; venues and vendors who knew our value and provided referrals; but most importantly a stalwart staff without whom none of this would have happened. These hardworking individuals were always where they needed to be and constantly proactive. Thanks so much to you guys!

Our first official soiree took place yesterday! A sweet 20-person family reunion and multiple June 14 birthdays celebration! Rain was rearing its ugly head; but they were able to host the cocktail hour outside and then came inside to the party hostess' lovely dining table. A great team of Paradise Beach Rentals, Laubster's Catering, and photos by Oh So Sweet Studios. And me with the party hostess!

So pleased and proud to have been a part of this fabulous wedding at the Grand Ol' Barn! Dina and Jake were wonderful clients who come from wonderful families. There are indeed just some weddings that stand out--certainly not every wedding has smoke bombs in Pride colors and a drag queen! But what made this one so special were these two guys--Jermy and Stephen who not only care deeply for each other but for everyone around them. What a fun evening we all had at Smyrna Yacht Club!

As is the case with many couples during this "love in the time of Covid," they had a small ceremony on April 25, 2020 with just family in the backyard. One year later, they celebrated their first year of marriage. While they did not have another ceremony per se, we brought the bridal party down the stairs and then the bride and her father with the groom waiting for them at the bottom. They stepped out onto the dance floor, read their vows and then did their first dance with the reception progressing thereafter with lots of fun and dancing at the beautiful Estate on the Halifax. There wasn't a dry eye in the house! Congratulations ... again .... Cassie and Jacob!
