Today 12-26 is Boxing Day for many of our kindred countries. A kind tradition founded in 1743 for those of more wealth to give gifts to those not so much. I've always liked it and we should borrow it. Come visit, I have boxing gifts lined up. :)

A little slack on spirit? Bring one of these home for the weekend and it is instant Christmas-guaranteed the house will get decorated. No parrafin, no petro chemicals, just soy and essential oil. And....made in NY. Absolutly the best. :)

My surprise today! I just can't toss any plant. Last year I brought home a broken 1/2 pointsettia; I cut it back and summered it on my porch until October. I parked it in my dining room which only gets their required, dawn to dusk light. And look it is doing what it does. :)) Don't toss your pointsettias! FYI-my local beauties arrive tomorrow.

All set for the Christmas Market at the American Legion in New Windsor tomorrow 11/30. Yes there are a lot of markets but come shop for our veterans. I'll have a few of the bay leaf wreaths with me and of course my Christmas nosegay 'tussie mussies'!

The CA sweet bay crops are back from the pandemic and it is wonderful! I will have the 16-18" wreaths ready from next week on. Taking orders now for the swags & garlands. ....the scent is just out of this world. 🎀 845-562-2820-delivered/shipped anywhere. :)

Veterans Day is near-Nov. 11. Remember, no one is ever lost if not forgotten so bring a flower or flag; or give them a thought. I have had 4 veterans in my family and a purple heart. I'm a proud, patriot brat :) 🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️

A dear, old friend came in the shop....I made him nearly 30 years ago for one of my favorite clients and every year he has graced her house and not the heart to toss him, could I possibly fix him. Of course rehab! I rebuilt, pulled, scissored, laced, painted, and added some new life & arm to.....Henry. I named him :) 🤎🤎

The theme= 'pure imagination'. My idea= aerie and whimsical, double moss topiary in assorted colors. For= the St. Lukes Annual Hospital Gala tonight.
First time in silk & dry florals so..... lucky to those who get to take one home-and yes-I made all 80 whimsies including those faux 💚fiddleheads. I can now make one for anyone with closed eyes. lol :))

Another historical charm I have revived.... traditionally used for security, secrecy, and status. The act of wax sealing a letter adds such an air of mystery and anticipation, heightening the emotional impact of the message. Which is why all enveloped messages leaving the shop are wax sealed. :)

How sweet; a recent wedding bouquet of all her family's birth flowers. Faux flowers have come a long way back and can you spot them? Hmm...6 are faux and 10 are real.

❓❓Ok friends, I need your input...I have over a dz show promoters in the tri county area asking me to set up at their festivals & fairs. October & November with my drieds, unusuals and Native goods-even the new HV Oktoberfest in Goshen? Warwick Apple Fest-I volunteered with my greyhound rescue booth 1 year and it was enough for me. Chaos. So.... you all know my creations-what are your thoughts or favorites that you attend? 🧐💚
