Order can be placed up to the Friday prior 12pm. Must be located in Orange County,NY. Pick ups available at Watts Park in Middletown or delivery is an addition $5. Payments must be made by Friday Noon.

Happy Tuesday frens!
I love roti! I love curry in all ways! Curried veggies are my fave. When I added collard greens to the pot ( cause that’s what I had on hand) it gave the curry a boost like no other. Lesson learned here is BE CREATIVE✨🌱. Don’t trip over not having everything and use what you got! Unless you’re baking then go to the store! Haha

Jerk Oyster Mushrooms|Curry sweet potato and collards| Fried Plantain| Turmeric Cilantro Rice with toasted almonds| Avocado

These past couple of days I’ve been thinking about the legacy I want to leave behind. Not only as a person, but as a chef. I’ve been wanting to try new things and the pressure of being a “Jamaican” chef which was once a badge of honor (still is) became stifling. I refuse to put myself in a box when it comes to anything I live ESPECIALLY FOOD. That being said, F*CK being traditional, I’m inspirational. Now back to making these new roads for the yutes after me to have the freedom to do what they REALLY want to do.

On Monday’s, I fast! One of the practices I’ve implemented since going vegan. Giving my body and organs the necessary break to be able to function properly. One of my recent favorite fruits to juice is Papaya! Papaya has many benefits. Papaya is a great source of antioxidants, nutrients and fiber!

One of my favorite snacks to make are these energy bites! They take less time than an episode of ( my fave show) to make. Packed with iron, potassium, calcium and fiber to name a few. Perfect for breakfast on the go or a post workout snack! Children love them ( at least mine does). What’s your fave raw vegan snack?

Walnut & Tomato “meat” sauce with spinach Tagliatelle.

Walnuts are the best nut based “ground meat” replacements! It’s great in tacos, lasagne, Nachos and meat sauces! It can also be used if you are a raw vegan, by soaking them overnight or using hot water if your in a pinch. Did you know you can cook grains the raw way by soaking them for days? Fun fact!

I season my avo cause that’s what I like! I miss being able to go the Jamaican spot on White Plains Rd and get some food. So I became the Jamaican spot. What’s your favorite Jamaican meal?! I’m taking requests!

So this past weekend, I had a catering that consisted of some fried foods. Now I’m not usually a fried food gyal BUT a fried oyster mushroom will tempt the living daylights outta me. Anyway, my stomach was YELLING at me & rightfully so, my intake of fat was getting downright ridiculous. I fasted this monday as usual and broke fast with this salad. I say ALL THAT to say.. There’s levels to being vegan. It’s not all imitation “meats” and “cheeses”. Sometimes it ain’t nothing like the real thang baby!

Salad contains:
green leaf lettuce
Dino kale
Kumato tomato
Red onion
Pepitas
smoked salt
tahini ( I made a dressing)

I’ve learned many cuisines over the years in this cooking game. I truly love ramen. When I was pregnant with my sun, all I ate was Noodles! Sometimes I wonder if you can truly veganize EVERYTHING, well I’ll always try.

Peanut butter ramen topped with carrots jalapeño boy Choy and mushrooms.

My scallions were s**t so couldn’t use that but that’s the fun thing about ramen and cooking in general. You use what you got, feel me? Good. Now go make some!!

The world’s best fried oyster mushrooms. I’m willing to put my 401k on this. Oyster mushrooms are becoming my fav mushroom to work with! For the upcoming holidays, I’ll be making 1/2 pans of these for pickup only in the Orange County NY area. Please DM me to purchase. I’m currently working on the logistics to start shipping them but until then.. here’s some food p**n for your eyes.
