We hosted a family birthday party for our four year old daughter, with 25 adults and only four children. David thoughtfully organized a call with us prior to the event to make sure he understood the dynamics of the day and what kind of balloon designs each child might enjoy, so that once he arrived he could hit the ground running. He also suggested that he could twist balloons for adults, which I naively assumed wouldn’t go over well. Hello friends!

Wow. It's been a while since I've posted other than photos, but I had a busy November and December. Thanks to my wonderful clients.

What now? Normally in event world, work declines January through March, so we focus on business and skill building (sharpening the saw). I'm currently working on a balloon comedy-magic show, featuring mostly all magic and comedy bits with balloons. If you've seen something fun out in the world you believe would serve as an inspiration to me, I welcome your sharing it with me. I'm examining every balloon magic trick I can find, and perhaps even creating a few.

For my tech geek brothers and sisters out there, I've hired a company to provide off-site SEO with an eye toward increasing the traffic to my site. If you have information to share that might help me in this, please do share. Thanks.

In February, I'll be attending Twist n Shout in Los Angeles a global conference of balloon artists filled with classes, competitions, and presentations. It's wonderful to meet our peers and learn new things. Immediately after T&S, I'll embark on a month long lecture tour with Ron Fowler through the south-western US, into Texas, and up into Ohio. I'll be lecturing on Authenticity in Performing to variety artists of all types. If you're in that area and have a group you believe would like to host Ron and myself, please do contact me.
