So, Meta fully hates me and doesn't want me to be great. But I am in my YOLO season so whether the algorithm decides to disrespect me, we're pushing to do something completely new, no matter how big or small!

COSMAS LEGENDARIES!
Bringing the resilience and unifying spirit of West Indian culture with our love for all things blerd!
On Monday, September 2nd, LEGENDARIES will take the Eastern Parkway with mas costumes inspired by POKÉMON! Each masquerader will parade as one of their favorite battle partners.
This is a cosplay community-centric approach to West Indian Carnival, where each masquerader will become their own designer and portray a Pokémon of choice: their interpretation of their creature in traditional or trendy mas attire to showcase and to celebrate Brooklynite West Indian culture with fellow blerds.
During the month of August, we will be hosting workshops and learning how to build your costume, featuring renowned cosplayers and mas-goers and designers from the New York community, including the likes of Vanta Creates , Chibith0t , and HeirOfGlee , leading up to the culmination that is the parade on Labor Day.
Time to show Brooklyn what we're about!

Registration fees will go directly to costs to parade on the parkway as a band, workshop costs such as bulk wiring and construction materials. Following Dreamcon weekend, information packets pertaining to WIADCA rules and other guidelines and meeting times will be shared with registrants or inquirers!
