This photo is from the infamous DJ battle at RJs teen club in 1988. I was 17. This is the night I met Aaron G, Jonski and Jealous J. They were all pi**ed that I won but invited me to meet with Bob Smith and become a part of a yet to be formed record label we decided to call Cut It Up def. Jonski went from wanting to fight me to asking me to be his DJ in the space of one night 🤣.
