Photos came back from a wedding I did last month where the bride and all of the guests were from Harrisburg; made me a little homesick (for a very brief moment 🤣) They were all so proud of me and happy that I (a black female originally from Harrisburg) was not only the owner but was running the show! Yesterday, the weather started off a normal and beautiful sunny day; perfect for a wedding! Then, out of nowhere, a thunderstorm came rolling in bringing lightning and hail with it. It was HORRIBLE and I felt so bad for the Bride as she had to sit and wait before she could move to the next building where the ceremony was being held. This bride is such a sweet and kind person so it was especially hard to watch as the rain poured but after the storm was said it done, the wedding of Christine and Vincenzo turned out to be beautiful 😍 Most importantly, the Bride loved it (which if you know me, you know that’s all I really care about).

Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️💕 Let’s talk Wedding Flowers as they play an important part in your wedding decor. This could be a special flower that your fiancé gave you for Valentine’s Day or even the first flower they gave you. Make sure you incorporate those flowers into your overall wedding design. If they’re an expensive flower like Peonies, then have small touches of that flower in your Bouquet! You can never go wrong when you’re choosing your wedding day flowers from your heart!

Favors matter! They are a way of saying “thank you” to your guests for taking the time to come to your wedding and celebrate with you. Be sure to get favors that are useful. Let’s talk about guest! The price tag of your wedding can add up very quickly with the more guest you invite. You want to really focus who you can’t imagine not being at your wedding instead of people like the coworker who just started at your job or the nail tech at your favorite nail salon. Focus on the people who matter most to you and the person you’re marrying!!

Let’s talk about vendors needed for your wedding. Most importantly, you’ll need a venue (bonus points if they cater), hair and makeup, DJ (or some other form of music), cake and other treats, dress, suit, shoes, Decorator, Florist, and last but absolutely not least…ME, you’re friendly and knowledgeable Wedding Planner! Now, in all honesty you don’t necessarily “need” a Wedding Planner. However, if you’re getting married, EVERYONE needs a Wedding Coordinator at the very least. The last thing you want to do is be stressed and handling logistics on your wedding day. First wedding of the season. Over 200 guest and a lot of hard work! I’ve been designing wedding since 2018 and this was my first wedding ever that had this many guests.
