Today is very special to me. It marks a full year that I’ve been self employed working as a full time photographer.
A few of you that have known me for a long time can testify how many years I’ve talked about it. “I wanna quit my job and be a photographer, and just travel”. Then one day I just did it. And to let you guys in a secret; I had absolutely no plan.
Didn’t know what I was doing. Didn’t know how to begin. Didn’t know who would support. Didn’t know where I was going to end up. But I was just so unhappy with my current life at the time that I couldn’t do it anymore. I needed something more. And here we are, a year later. I know that I’ve never been happier. To do what I love, To capture special moments that people cherish and keep forever. I can do that over and over again.
So I tell everyone who’s been considering if they want more from life and are hesitating due to wanting the safe route, it’s okay, it’s scary and it’s a lot of work, but the quality of life is very different for the better. You get more out of life. You don’t have to know what you’re doing but you have to want more and that craving is going to take you far.
So here’s to a full year of my business and to many years more 🥂🍾
P.S. I created a new page to be solely my photography page where I can really post my weddings, engagements, and events. This page will mostly focus on a personal level and my travels. So if you want to keep supporting please follow my photography page. And share that one when referring me to your friends. 😊
