This sweet holiday is quite stressful time for all the florists: the loads are very high, prices for flowers are jumping up and some sorts of flowers can only be bought much in advance.
Everything on the shelves of wholesale flower markets is being swept away these days!

If it weren’t for our regular customers, perhaps I would have taken day OFF 😄

It is very important to me that every client remains the happiest and receives their bouquet in time.

Therefore, there will be a limited number of orders to share the joy of this wonderful day with those for whom it is really important to order a bouquet from us.

LET’S GET CLOSER

I did it a while ago but who remembers, right? Here are some random facts about me to help us get to know each other better.

🤍 My name is Ksenia. I immigrated to the USA 6 years ago from Far East of Russia.

🤍 Met my husband at 13 years old. Now I’m 33.

🤍 We have a 4 years old son.

🤍 I spent 1 year as an exchange student in South Korea and lived in Thailand for a 1 year after I was graduated from university

🤍 I’m a low-key nerd. Love to study. I have a bachelor’s degree diploma with distinction in architecture and diploma of an art school.

🤍 Went into flower business from architect office position and don’t regret it for a minute. Still in love with the beautiful spaces and buildings though.

🤍 I’m a dog person! Had my first dog since I was 3 years old. And I can’t imagine my life without one.
Now we have cutest bullterrier named Boston. And I dream to have at least three dogs at some point.

My mom was pretty strict with me as a child:

“Don't get your dress dirty. Don't lose your keys. How could you scratch your knees again?”

When I grew up, I never became a neat and tidy girl. But suddenly my mother changed.

“Let's go to the cinema or to a cafe. We take everything we’d like in the store. Do you need a laptop? Let's take the best one." We became the best friends.

When I couldn't decide on a wedding dress - "we'll take two". Oh I liked another one - “maybe three then?”. I had to slow down her generosity 😄

I am very grateful to her for the way in which her upbringing and an abundant mindset combined in me as a result. Now it's my turn to spoil her and ask if she wants three dresses instead of two.

Today is mom's Birthday 🎂 We are separated by 6000 miles. She doesn’t post anything on Instagram, but she reads everything and always supports me. Happy Birthday Mom! I love you ❤️

Hug your moms. And if you are far away, you can always do it with flowers.

One of the best ways to sum up result of the year 🖋

Year is moving to it’s end and we want to share with you a great way to reflect on your achievements. To measure the results, feel inspired, draw conclusions, set goals and live better next year.

Debriefing is a method of analysis that helps to understand and consolidate the experience. There are four levels to be assessed in details with answering a number of questions:

🌟 Level of emotions and feelings:
- How did you feel this year?
- What emotions prevailed and why?
- How does it feel now?

🌟 Action Level:
- What was the main activity in 2020? - What did you do for the first time?
- What was difficult?
- What strategies did you use in your work?
- What results did you get?
- How much does what you did move you forward, help you in development?
- And what actions are slowing down the forward movement?

🌟 Level of Conclusions:
- What conclusions can be drawn at the end of 2020?
- What was the discovery?
- What needs a revision?
- What to consolidate as "best practice" and use in 2021?

🌟 Prospect Level:
In the last step of the debriefing, write out recommendations for improving the quality of life using a three-level analysis. Point out what will help you move forward and make life more enjoyable ❤️

How to boost up your energy in gloomy days ⛈

We are personally don’t mind rainy days when you can let yourself relax and recharge, reading a good book in your bed or watching your favorite movie. But sometimes we really need to make our things done.
So here are some tips from us:

💡 Turn on the light.
As soon as you get out of bed, turn on the bright light in the room and throughout the apartment. It will instantly stop the production of the sleep hormone, and you will feel more alert.
⠀
💡 Take a breath.
Essential oils can help you cheer up and improve your mood. For example, citrus essences, especially sweet orange, increase the production of joy hormones and stimulate the brain. Bring the bottle of oil to your nose and take three deep breaths.
⠀
💡 Use color.
The power of the influence of color on our perception has long been proven. And here we can help you out! 😉 In winter, when bright colors are lacking outside, add them to your life with bright clothes, accessories, fruits, vegetables or bunch of nice fresh flowers. Life will become much more pleasant.
⠀
💡Add vibrant flavors.
Pour some coffee beans into the jar, add nutmeg, cinnamon stick, vanilla or cloves, and close the lid tightly. Let such a jar always be on the desktop. Open and breathe in invigorating aromas in moments of fatigue and sadness, sleep will take off like a hand, and your mood will noticeably improve.

💡Move!
The more sleep you want, the more active you need to be physically. Walk, walk, go jogging - whatever your heart desires, just in the fresh air. You will not notice how you will become more cheerful and positive.

🌸 The flowers are in the water and have already been cut. People often use blunt scissors - it destroys flower stems. They drink worse and the bouquet dies quickly.

🌸 The bouquet did not remain without water, the stems were not clogged with air.
⠀
🌸 The bouquet was not tied, the stems were not jammed anywhere.
⠀
🌸 Clients are often tempted not to remove the packaging from a bouquet for which it is not useful. And here it simply does not exist: the bouquet is not constricted or squeezed.

🌸 When set on floristic foam, flowers are cut shorter, so they drink better.
⠀
🌸 They do not need to change the water - compositions based on floristic foam require minimal maintenance. They just need to be watered a little every day.
⠀
🌸 Flowers on the floral foam are "fixed", even if you tilt the composition to the side, it will not lose its shape
