It hosts boutique events curated by ROBERT C. FORD (Wall Street Poet) often in collaboration with COMPOSERS CONCORDANCE, an eclectic contemporary music organization. Performers have included: JOHN CLARK (horn - Gil Evans), CARLI MUNOZ (keyboards - Beach Boys), PAUL NOWINSKI (bass - Les Paul, Keith Richards), GENE PRITSKER (guitar - Joe Zawinul, Matrix Resurrections), JAY RODRIGUEZ (sax - Groove Co

llective), HERNAN ROMERO (grammy-winning flamenco guitarist), ROB SCHWIMMER (piano/theremin - Simon and Garfunkel, Gotye, Esperanza Spalding) and DAVE TAYLOR (bass trombone - Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra). The name SKY VAULT is a nod to the fact 20 Pine Street once was the headquarters of Morgan Guaranty Trust Company which evolved into Chase Bank. David Rockefeller had his office in the building when he was president of Chase in the 1970s and 3 bank vaults still exist in the basement.
