This month marks 23 Years that I started my DMC & Event Planning Company, Details NYC DMC & Events and 32 years that I have been in my amazing, exciting, exhilarating, crazy, ever changing and stressful industry. Lol
In 1991 I started my first job in the Travel, Tourism and Events industry, working as an assistant in the group sales department for a large Mexican Hotel chain, and my first job in Manhattan where the sales office was based. From there I worked a short time at the Warwick Hotel in Manhattan, to a few years in Cancun, Mexico, circling back to NYC to work under the direction of some of the industries finest and finally starting my own.
I've had the pleasure to work alongside some the most talented, creative, hardworking, smart and dedicated team players and partners. The friends I’ve made, the travels, the adventures, the experiences, the growth, the fruitful years, the very hard times trying to survive economy crashes, to a pandemic. WHAT A WILD RIDE IT HAS BEEN!
I’ve been so very proud to serve the tourist and events community in NYC, building strong relationships with our local partners and giving back with our Community Service Events. And most of all we are so grateful to all our loyal and dedicated clients over the years!
