UILY is back with an autumnal poetry reading and party at on Friday 10/27.

After spending years working with vineyards in Chile, distillers in Kentucky, and mezcalerías in Mexico, wine and spirits educator Marcelo Jaimes Lukes returned to his native Brooklyn in 2022. His current project is Grand Cru .nyc, a seasonal pop-up event that aims to demystify beverages for New Yorkers, making premium wines and spirits accessible and understandable.

As you know, we have been hosting these wildly hedonistic world music nights for almost 3 years! Now we are partnering with Brooklyn Dance Lessons to provide a little support for your dancing feet before our next musical endeavors this fall.
This 4 week cycle beginning on 8/23 will introduce you to Latin (Salsa, Bachata), Swing, and Social (Hustle, Rumba, Merengue). A partner is required!
