Hudson Heights Community Music Program

Hudson Heights Community Music Program HHCMP is a interactive music program open for musicians in or around NYC, founded by Valerie Coleman. Q & A: Do you have to be a musician to be a member? No!

Through its events, HHCMP provides musicians of all ages and levels with the opportunity to perform in a non-judgemental atmosphere. The program puts ensembles together from those who sign up; they rehearse on their own and can opt to have coachings on request. The program enjoys the following activities:
-Salon concerts hosted by members of HHCMP. -Workshops for performers that would like to per

form in front of others and receive feedback.
-Chamber Music Reading Parties
-Flute Forum
-Concerts in partnership with other music organizations

All activities are free and open to the public. Musicians will be the ones who perform, but anyone can be a member who attends activities and even hosts salon gatherings for the performing musicians.
