Being a full time wedding photographer has granted me all kinds of privileges ranging from simple things like mid-week freedom, to significant things like commemorating my clients’ legacies. But my absolute favorite privilege is that I get to be there every day for my daughter. I get to teach her how to wave. How to walk. How to talk. How to be polite and respectful, and when not to be. All the tea parties, pillow forts, and dancing around the house while playing hooky from school. I’ll get to be there for so many things that most dads unfortunately miss out on. Whether you’re a 9-5er or a full time dad, Happy Father’s Day!
