Direct from Bye Bye Birdie at the Kennedy Center and off to Broadway in the Fall,
BTC BALTIMORE is proud to introduce RENELL TAYLOR as part of our 2024 Faculty!

 Renell Taylor, a New Orleans native, is thrilled to be making his BTC faculty debut! Renell attended BTC as a student in New Orleans in the summers of 2017 and 2018. After graduating from Elon University in 2023, where Renell received his BFA in Music Theatre and his BA in Arts Administration, he immediately hit the ground running. He is thrilled to be making his BROADWAY debut in the fall (shhh) in A Wonderful World after also being a member of the pre-Broadway tryout! Renell was last seen in Bye Bye Birdie at the Kennedy Center and in the New York Times Critics Pick production of Jelly’s Last Jam at the New York City Center. He enjoyed working with many greats in these productions, including Christian Borle, Billy Porter, Krysta Rodriguez, Leslie Uggams, Ephraim Sykes, and many more. Regional: Anything Goes (Pittsburgh CLO), White Christmas (Bucks County Playhouse), and performances with The Lexington Theatre Company, Forestburgh Playhouse, Tulane Summer Lyric, Tent Theatre, and the National World War II Museum. 

Renell wants to thank Jess and Jason for welcoming him back home to a place that has significantly impacted him! 💙💙💙
