Summer wouldn't be summer for Circuit Productions until we have our world-renowned artists perform at the Central Park Conservancy's Harlem Meer Performance Festival. The Festival is one of the summer events that brings together the many cultural groups and people of Harlem.
Despite the restrictions, changes, and challenges imposed on public events by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Conservancy was committed to producing the series. The "new normal" for many outdoor concerts is a virtual show. The performances by these renowned and talented artists were "off the chain."
This year we were honored to present these exceptionally talented international artists with our presenting partner, Journeyagents Inc. Performances featured the artists in various sections of the Park including Belvedere Castle. It was the first time that a video-shoot was allowed on that site. The artists included Paul Beaubrun & Zing Experience Band, Nikki Holloway & New Generation Gospel Group, and Nkumu Katalay & the Lifelong Project Band. Each group performed one song and gave an absolutely stellar performance.
