In Loving Memory of Lachlan Hugh Schieb 12/18/18- 2/27/20

It is with an unfathomable sadness that we tell you of the sudden passing of our beautiful boy Lachlan Hugh Schieb. We are all devastated by his passing, and our worlds are forever changed.

Lachlan was such a happy child and melted the hearts of everyone that he and his brother Oscar met. They were double trouble in the best way. Being an identical twin, we cannot comprehend what Oscar has also lost.

Lachlan was our little hero, and he became a hero to another family by giving their child the gift of life with his heart valves. The kindest gift he could have given another family with his passing. We have been updated and told his organs are continuing to save the lives of others.

Though Lachlan is gone, he will never be forgotten, and in Lachlan's name, we hope you can join us by helping others. Instead of flowers and other gifts, we hope that you can help others by donating and helping to save the lives of others.

Your donation will go into sponsoring a specific project or projects that we will nominate at the closure of this campaign.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they're complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

There are a range of financial needs refugees may have: from winter clothing to emergency accommodation; books for children to mental health treatment following years of detention; money for English classes or an affordable laptop. Every bit counts. Ads-Up will be hosting fundraisers, which you can be involved with by signing up to our mailing list below. WHO WE ARE Ads-Up is a group of Australians in the USA who are working to support the 1,250 refugees being resettled in America under the US-Australia refugee deal. US resettlement agencies provide 90 days of limited assistance to new refugees – after that, they’re on their own. We aim to fill the gap.
