Thank you to our friend Caleb in Australia for ordering this custom @olintobass by La Bella. We’ve been lucky to have so many Australian bass players interested in these vintage style instruments. Here we see Olinto AR man @mitchthebassplayer display the 5-string PJ in action. We built this Olinto with an Alder body, maple/Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Caleb ordered the relic upgrade finish with a 3-tone undercoat and a turquoise blue top coat. We outfitted the bass with our hand wound 1954 “Originals” 52-128. The Motown sound is alive and well with this bass!
