Giovanni discovered his passion for jazz in the 7th grade after joining his middle school’s jazz band. Since then, Martinez has performed with several nationally recognized ensembles. Martinez currently attends at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, where he continues his studies as a Jazz Trumpet Major under the tutelage of the great Jon Faddis @gioincognito
