Shrine World Music Venue’s mission is to establish a positive creative atmosphere for both artists and audiences from all backgrounds.

8-10pm: Paul Austerlitz brings his distinctive vodou horn sound to Shrine! This performance includes drums, bass, keys, tied together to create funky harmonies and energetic rhythms.

10-12am [Featured]: Troy Weekes , proudly from Harlem, New York, has been singing since the age of 3 and performing since the age of 14. Beyond his powerful voice, he is also a songwriter, actor, dancer, emcee, and podcast host. Troy sings Gospel, Neo-Soul and R&B music, embodying the best qualities in each of these styles, and creating a unique sound all his own. Troy Weekes Music

Come prepared to create new music on the spot - every 5-7 minutes, half the band takes a seat and is replaced by musicians from the audience, the new group of random strangers jams on a fresh key and concept - and the rotation continues! 7-8pm: Jacob and The Conartists are bringing vintage jazz back to the spotlight with swagger, soul, and a fresh voice. This ensemble delivers timeless classics with a style that feels nostalgic but is unmistakably now. Jacob Conley

8-10pm: The Shrine Big Band Returns! A 16-piece big band, with three trumpets, three trombones, four saxes, flute, piano, guitar, bass, and drums. Come and experience the experimental and hard-swinging sounds every first Sunday of the month.

10-11pm [Featured]: Nice Brass is a New Orleans-style brass band based in New York City. They play a variety of brassy music including traditional NOLA standards, your favorite pop songs, and originals. Find them on Instagram and TikTok !

8-9pm: Squirrels From Hell "The Band New York City Couldn't Kill". Underground, Unusual, Original Rock that spans multiple styles. An intense band that has spent decades in obscurity. Only the raw but controlled energy of a live performance will demonstrate how SFH continue to influence NY music culture. William Duggan

9-10pm: Robert Mitchell has been a performing, touring, recording artist since 1980. Performing in all original bands: GLASS HOUSE and WILDLIFE and RAJA and CINEMATIK, Mitchell also played as a sideman with numerous NYC and Boston bands. Currently leading the MITCHELL TRIO, Robert remains eager to play more shows.

8-10pm [Featured]: Andrea Zerbetto is an Italian Jazz pianist who proposes a personal vision of the piano trio, developed through his intensive musical studies and shaped by the vibrant jazz scene of New York City. The band proposes original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards.

10-12am: Simon Metzger is a New York City–based jazz drummer, bandleader, and composer who has been honing his craft since early childhood and has trained with renowned musicians including Kendrick Scott, Clarence Penn, and Gerald Clayton.

10-12am: Allison Young is a saxophonist and woodwind doubler based in Brooklyn, NY. Allison has performed locally as a bandleader and sideman for groups such as the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra, the Annie Booth Big Band, the Drew Zaremba Jazz Fellowship Orchestra, and more while working in the vibrant Denver music scene before her recent move to Rochester.
