Today is , a day to not only honor our ancestry and those who traveled from other countries to America to live a better life, but also to honor our ongoing partnership with The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, Inc. and the amazing work they do.

The Foundation’s driving fundraising efforts, in connection with the National Park Service, work to rebuild and restore Lady Liberty herself, as well as Ellis Island, the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration, The American Family Immigration History Center, and the Statue of Liberty Museum.

Our event days can be very long - getting to the venue early in the morning, and leaving late at night after packing everything away can be tiresome!

While we try to fit in a meal or two where we can, we mainly rely on our snacks to keep us energized throughout the evening while we tend to the different tasks of the night. Check out the MME team’s go to snacks for event day!
