New York's only Annual beach Jazz Festival.

Annual Rockaway Beach (NY) Jazz Festival - On the Boardwalk featuring local and internationally known musicians and bands. The pandemic shut it down in 2020 for a couple years, and now the boardwalk venue changed management; we are currently on indefinite hold.

So here we are - Summer 2021..
Looks like Rockaway's getting back to normal after last year's weird summer.
As for the Festival, it doesn't look like it'll happen this year, but I'm not sure - it still might!
The crew that have been super supportive hosting the festival at the Low Tide Bar at 97th St. for the past 5 years have moved on, and there's a new concessionaire running the concessions. Also the Parks Dept. have a new guy running the boardwalk, plus they are building a bandshell at 94th St, so that's pretty exciting.
So we'll see; i'd love to get it going again, and I know tons of Rockawayites, musicians, and DFD's (down for the day for you outsiders!) would love to see it come back too.
