We mourn the loss of two extraordinary Round Hill Music artists who helped define the sound of modern rock - Ace Frehley, original lead guitarist and founding member of KISS, and Sam Rivers, bassist and co-founder of Limp Bizkit.
Ace Frehley’s unmistakable style and showmanship helped shape one of the most iconic rock bands in history. His creativity and individuality made him not only a rock legend, but a lasting symbol of freedom, rebellion, and self-expression through music.
Sam Rivers brought a bold new energy to the bass - fusing groove, aggression, and precision help propel Limp Bizkit to worldwide success and redefine the sound of late-’90s and early-2000s rock. His dynamic playing and musical vision were essential to the band’s signature sound and enduring influence.
We honor both artists for their immense contributions to music and culture, and our thoughts are with their families at this difficult time. Their artistry, innovation, and fearless spirit will continue to inspire generations to come.
