Humberto Ramírez is one of the most influential and talented musicians in Puerto Rico, recognized internationally. Born in San Juan, Ramírez has played a crucial role in the evolution of jazz music on the island, masterfully fusing elements of Latin music with contemporary jazz. Over the past 40 years, this Grammy Award-winning artist has excelled as a trumpeter, pianist, composer, arranger, bandleader, musical director, radio show host, educator, and jazz enthusiast and is deeply involved in every aspect of Puerto Rican music.

Ramírez, who recently celebrated his 40th year in music with a thrilling performance in Puerto Rico, is now bringing that celebration to New York City on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at Hostos Center for the Arts and Culture in The Bronx. He will perform his most iconic Latin jazz compositions and songs joined by his vocalist Michelle “La Brava,” members of his band, and the Mambo Legends Orchestra.
