Today marks our 11th TTWD Anniversary! On 10.10.10 I officially launched TTWD after 8 years as an interior designer. Designing spaces was something I knew I wanted to continue to do, but the ability to create once in a lifetime events filled with love and joy was what really won me over. Over the past 11 years we have planned over 100 beautiful weddings and events, have provided employment and internships for over 40 amazing planners and floral designers, and have had the honor of creating exceptionally fun and unforgettable experiences for over 25,000 guests. With that said, I’m so excited for you to see what we have in store as we continue to grow the company. You may even notice some changes over here in the next few weeks as we start posting (slightly) more colorful images in order to share more of our work with you on IG and not just on our website:) Cheers! 🍾✨

✨PUBLISHED✨We’re thrilled to finally share a super special Micromony that brought us to the beautiful island of Nantucket last month— and said “I do” surrounded by an intimate group of family and friends, and let me tell you…sometimes it’s the small celebrations that make for the most magical moments! Shout out to the incredible team who helped us turn their Ralph Lauren inspired dream into a reality!! Happy 10th Anniversary to TTWD! Today marks ten years since Matt and I received our first official contract as business owners. Prior to launching TTWD I had worked as an interior designer for eight years, and Matt had worked as a graphic designer/illustrator, so design was not new to us, but the world of weddings and events most certainly was! It’s amazing to think how far we have come in that time: working with hundreds of clients, bringing on interns and then freelancers and then employees! We feel incredibly fortunate that ten years later we still love what we do (not withstanding the current climate) and feel extremely grateful that we wake up every day and get to work together as a team- as best friends, partners and as a family. These last few months have certainly been trying, but the love and respect we have for each other and for our work has really carried us through- and even made way for “new” TTWD endeavors to come about, surprisingly organically. With more time to spare, and more people spending time in their homes (and therefore wanting their environments to be chic, elegant and relaxing) I have been able, once again, to say yes to interior design projects! Additionally, some fellow event professionals have asked us to help them develop stronger business practices, allowing us to help them better prepare their businesses for the future. Much like how we formed TTWD on 10.10.10, we have always been open to exploring new ventures and to listening to what is needed. While much remains uncertain in the world, we look forward to this next chapter and making your life more beautiful, happy and unforgettable along the way. 📷
