This page has always been home to my brides, my clients, their celebrations, and the work I have been blessed to create. And I want to make room for it to remain that way.
So, a little backstory on what’s next. 🤎
Last year, before attending my first Engage!, I began creating videos around culture and ceremony—conversations about weddings that went beyond what was beautiful and into what these traditions, moments and choices actually mean.
Then I went to Engage!. And somewhere in that experience, I knew I had stepped into alignment with something Christ had already been placing on my heart.
Beyond the Vows came shortly after.
I remember driving home one day and praying about what I could create that aligned with my purpose of strengthening and promoting the institution of marriage. And the Holy Spirit dropped a question into my spirit:
What’s one thing that surprised you most about marriage?
That one question became a conversation. And that conversation became Beyond the Vows.
None of this was created for clout. It wasn’t created because it was trendy, or even because I knew where it would lead. I’m learning to be obedient when God gives me something to steward. For me, it is Kingdom business.
And now, I believe it’s time to give these conversations a home of their own.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll begin transitioning Beyond the Vows, my Talks, and the stories and conversations surrounding culture, marriage, ceremony and the meaning behind how we gather over to Culture & Ceremony®.
Yanie & Yael will remain home to the beautiful celebrations, couples and clients we have the privilege of serving.
And Culture & Ceremony® will become home to the conversations underneath it all.
