It's our 🎉 Sweet Sixteen 🎉
We're incredibly grateful to be a part of the Brooklyn community, through the ups, downs, and everything in between, we've learned so much all these years.
Also fittingly, it's National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day (definitely not one of those silly made up days...)! It's a daunting future we're all facing, luckily it'll never be alone. We love you. Stay safe. Give flowers.

Did you know in 14th century there is a time period called 'Tulip Mania' where people were selling their houses to buy rare, diseased tulip bulbs (because they produced beautifully striped flowers). It lasted for decades - now it's illegal to cultivate the virused tulips. But! you can see what the fuss was about in many dutch paintings of the time.

“My father was born the year of the Metal Snake, hosting traits of calm and collected (though when it comes to chores my mother would say slow!) Every New Year, he loves to cook this one lotus dish. Lotus roots have a webbed connection, so when we eat it for New Years we will always be connected.

About Park Delicatessen

We started Park Delicatessen back in 2009. Initially the idea of having a storefront was born out the idea of us having a larger work space for Valentine's clothing company and Michael`s window display business.

The name Park Delicatessen came from our original location on Park Place that was once a German family owned Delicatessen. Over the course of 3 months we uncovered glorious details and original white enamel deli cases. We restored and re purposed as much as possible to fit into our plan of opening a skateboard, flower and dry good boutique.

Over the next 8 years and one move Park Delicatessen has cemented it self as one of the highest rated florists in New York and a pillar of the Crown Heights community.
