“My father was born the year of the Metal Snake, hosting traits of calm and collected (though when it comes to chores my mother would say slow!) Every New Year, he loves to cook this one lotus dish. Lotus roots have a webbed connection, so when we eat it for New Years we will always be connected.
Though most recognizable for the holiday is “Hong-bao,” the red envelopes that carry luck, prosperity, and most notably, money!"

It’s an all time favorite location among fashion photographers and celebrities, for good reason - the art deco vibe remains iconic. With its high ceiling and dark tones, the Bard Room lends itself to a sexy, warm fall palette: deep red peonies, pink french garden spray roses, silvery greenery, and chocolate queen anne’s. Bar arrangements created a statement for the cocktail hour before entering into a beautiful, decadent dining room lush with candles and flowers.”

The Arch was originally intended for the outside but rain changed our plans, so we created a doorway full of beautiful, seasonal blooms opening to the pond view.”

About Park Delicatessen

We started Park Delicatessen back in 2009. Initially the idea of having a storefront was born out the idea of us having a larger work space for Valentine's clothing company and Michael`s window display business.

The name Park Delicatessen came from our original location on Park Place that was once a German family owned Delicatessen. Over the course of 3 months we uncovered glorious details and original white enamel deli cases. We restored and re purposed as much as possible to fit into our plan of opening a skateboard, flower and dry good boutique.

Over the next 8 years and one move Park Delicatessen has cemented it self as one of the highest rated florists in New York and a pillar of the Crown Heights community.
