GENOVEVA PRODUCTIONS IS COMING TO THE PRODUCERS CLUB!!
We are so honored to have this once-in- a- lifetime opportunity to bring the words of my friend, mentor, talented playwright, Jack Dyville to life:)
I know most of you are familiar with this play--as it has had a few previous productions of the original full length version and a shorter version as well.
But if this is the first you're hearing about this heartfelt story--here's a small synopsis:
Set in 2004, this play explores the friendship of two of the most unlikely acquaintances Edith Lovelind, a former Broadway chorus girl and Edgar, a NYC café proprietor/fry-cook, and father of three. As the play progresses, we see signs of Miss Lovelind’s bout with Dementia. Meanwhile, Edgar is going through a separation from his wife of 22 years. And he learns some valuable lessons from his new friend, lovingly known as Miss Lovely. Their friendship was as unlikely as her need for a Red Umbrella in the Crystal White Snow.
