Meet our Founder! The Lovesmith-Rev. Dr. Samora Smith -Our Founder

Allow me to Introduce myself. I am Rev. Dr. Samora, founder of Common Ground Ceremonies & Lovesmith, Inc. My award-winning officiant business in NYC was created 14 years ago to offer beautiful ceremonies to diverse, interfaith, and non-religious couples and families for all occasions. Marriage Equality was also recognized in New York on the same day I performed my first “for hire” wedding. To me, this was a sign that I was on the right path—-to support everyone’s right to love regardless of gender, faith, background, etc.

I am also a healing arts specialist, combining my gifts as a sound & vibrational healer, musical artist, spiritual coach, and certified hypnotherapist to support individuals, couples, and families in aligning themselves through the mastery of self-love and attunement. My diverse indigenous background and passion for healing inspires my path to guide people back to earth-based practices and unplugging from the noise for self-healing.
