It’s so crazy I don’t even know where to start. So many people don’t even know my story for real and what I’ve been through. Who would have thought that the church boy, the basketball player that used to wear thigh cloths and hoop in church shoes, the fat boy the was teased for being black and fat growing up? Who would have thought right? So many ups and so many downs, so many failures and so much success. I was never suppose to be a dj nor a personality, my household and culture demanded that I be a doctor or a physician. But as I look back on how everything has come to be I can honestly say I am thankful.
Like the sport of basketball work in equals work out. Hard work beats talent and the same rules applied to my craft of being a dj. So cheers to the growth and the continued growth on my journey. So let’s all take a moment to appreciate my journey and my truths. Today I want to make a promise to everyone that supports me. I promise to surpass the goals set forth by my team and by my peers. I promise to give music my everything, and I promise to continue to live by my quote: “DON’T TALK ABOUT IT BE ABOUT IT”
