We are thrilled to have hosted and the last week! Check out the photos from their event! Marathoners start their training now to get ready for November! Such a great event!

Thursday night I asked 500+ runners to raise one finger and it went a lil’ something like this.

“That 1 represents you. That 1 also represents the person beside you. This 1 also represents before you step into HQ, leave your ego outside, because when you step in, we become as 1, a unit, a family. And you might have three, two or 1 fall marathons you’re training for, just know we’re gonna take it 1 marathon at a time to complete your goal. And I know for some, this is on your bucket list, or you might be running for someone who passed away (in their memory) or someone who can’t physically run (you’re honoring them).

Just keep in mind that a five hour marathoner and three hour marathoner covers the same distance. Once you cross that finish line, you’re a marathoner and we are the 1’s to help you with that because we believe in you.

But you always have to be that 1 person that roots for you and believe in yourself before any1 else does. And last but not least, that 1 also represents that you are the 1 to be doing this because if not, you wouldn’t be here to train. So continue to put one foot in front of the other, and let’s make it a great 1. Aight. 1 love.”

Last week marked the one-year anniversary of the Plant-Powered Carbon Challenge. The Altman Building was thrilled to be the home that celebrated with and . All of the signatory’s commitments mean that they will reduce their food-related carbon emissions by 25% by 2030 by serving more plant-based foods. We were ecstatic to have so many wonderful institutions, businesses and journalists covering such a fantastic event!
