This is a gratitude post to L+K who gave the trust and creative freedom to make the most breathtaking and textural arrangements.
When we first connected over a year before their wedding date, we had dreams of billowing clouds of white gypsophila surrounding the couple as they exchanged vows, rolling down the aisle and spilling across tables. Cut to the wedding boom of 2021…. with its endless clouds of baby’s breath and we all knew we needed to make a 180.
With Lillian’s brilliant wedding planner behind the wheel, we devised a new vision: going bold and playful. Texture was at the forefront as we ordered the fluffiest, prettiest and most interesting blooms spring had to offer. The arrangements overflowed and spilled onto the tables with lushness.
The finishing touch were the hundreds of taper candles in a mix of texture and heights, some in glass holders, some fixed to slices of black slate, to bring a romantic glow throughout the space (shout out to for the hours of finicky work.)
