Yesterday, we kicked off our first book club of the year, and wow… it was EVERYTHING! Huge thanks to The Shake and Grind for hosting us in their cozy, welcoming space. Between the incredible coffee, snacks, and even soup, the vibe was pure perfection. ☕🍲📚

We dove into The Things We Leave Unfinished by Rebecca Yarros—an unforgettable historical/romance with a double timeline that had everyone hooked. This book came highly recommended by the group, so if you haven’t read it, add it to your list ASAP!

A massive shoutout to everyone who joined us and made this meet so special—you’re the heart of our community. And an extra-special THANK YOU to Leza and her team at The Shake and Grind for your warm hospitality and amazing coffee. We can’t wait to come back for more bookish adventures!

Since I’m not a fan of writing directly in my books, I’ll use color-coded tags to categorize my thoughts and jot down detailed notes in my journal instead.

Today, we had an amazing time at Walktoberfest, fully immersed in the beautiful fall scenery of the Hudson Valley. We explored the event, meeting fantastic local vendors, sampling delicious food and drinks, spotting adorable pets, and treating myself to a lovely piece of jewelry from Rock This Way Crystal Shop. I also picked up some incredibly beautiful home goods that I can’t wait to use! Walking along the walkway and soaking in the views of the Hudson River was truly breathtaking. With so much happening, I didn’t capture as many photos as I would’ve liked, but I did manage a few.
