Counting down to 15 years of Vision: Week 5!

2014 — kicked off by celebrating the sweetest couple soon after same-sex marriage was made legal in New Jersey. We’re proud to celebrate and shine a light on all love stories every day since ❤️

Throughout the year, our momentum continued. Our team of Visionaries continued to grow as we fostered new relationships in the events industry.

We planned more and more weddings and made a big foray into the high-profile corporate world through events, galas and beyond. Every event came with new challenges that we embraced, learned and grew from.

With each year and through every celebration, we fine-tune our approach, ensuring that every detail, big and small, comes together seamlessly. Something that still rings true for us to this day!

Counting down to 15 years of Vision: Week 2!

Let’s take it back to where it all began.

In 2010, Vision started as an entertainment company known for our talented DJs and epic parties. But while managing events, we noticed couples wanted to “plan” their own weddings but needed someone to handle the details and bring it all together. That’s when we stepped into the world of coordination.

In those early days, we worked on everything from weddings to networking events and non profit fundraisers, building relationships and learning how to create impactful experiences, while having fun along the way.

As we’ve grown, our mission remains the same: build connections, solve problems, and make every event unforgettable.

And those big smiles from the early days behind a DJ booth have stayed with us ever since.

If you’re worried about rain on your wedding day, don’t be! We’ll always be there not only to hold your umbrellas but also to calmly guide you through all the other logistics leading up to and on the big day. That way your job is just to be present so you can enjoy every little moment together — rain or shine!

The one thing to always expect on wedding days is that unexpected things will happen. But that’s what we’re there for. Plus, sometimes the unexpected can actually be a sweet surprise. Like the sun coming out just in time for sunset for Kristen and David!

Happy engagement season! Sharing our early wedding planning tips for all our newly engaged couples out there 💍

1. Celebrate🎉 First things first! Soak in this exciting new chapter with your fiancé, family and friends.

2. Compile a guest list. Your guest count dictates so much of your wedding planning — the size of the event, wedding venues options, budget, accommodations, and more!

3. Talk budget. A crucial step in your planning journey! Having the money chats upfront as a couple and family will give you the space to make the rest of the planning more fun — trust us!

4. Set the date + venue! Your first major decision and honestly one of the most exciting parts of planning! We always advise our couples to narrow down your search by filtering for capacity, location, aesthetic, food and budget. If you find a spot that checks off your top boxes, you’re doing it right!

5. Prioritize vendor bookings. Compile a list of your necessary vendors and organize in order of importance to you as a couple. P.S. this is something we can be a big help with! 📋
