Good morning family. Awhile ago I asked if anyone had ideas for my friend whose racist neighbor has been harassing her with escalating threats and violence since she bought her home in 2020. She’s decided it’s too dangerous and the legal system is failing her family, and she’s trying to move. She’s launched a fundraiser to cover the costs of relocating her home and farm-based business. I’m sharing it with you, and hoping you can share it with any networks you have, especially people interested in racial justice and land and food sovereignty. Of course every small donation adds up, but if a few wealthy people who are invested (no pun intended) in wealth distribution made larger donations, it would be impactful. It’s a really sad thing.

Joy Clark is a New Orleans singer-songwriter, lyrical guitarist and composer who creates soulful original compositions that celebrate peace and the undeniable power of love. Like so many other artists in New Orleans, Joy's first stage was a church. Growing up the daughter of a minister, she learned to create an atmosphere ripe for an emotional experience. So it’s no wonder she believes music is her ministry and intimacy is her superpower.
