Laura began her event planning career in Upstate New York at the City of Albany Office of Special Events followed by Classe Catering prior to relocating to New York City in 2005. Shortly after moving to NYC, Laura began working at Council on Foreign Relations' Office of Special Events (Harold Pratt House) managing and planning over 100 events a year for many VIP clients and members. During her tim

e at CFR, Laura took an interest in floral and event design and began taking classes at the Flower School New York. After over five years at the Pratt House, Laura left to begin Laura Remmert Events specializing in full service and event consulting for weddings, corporate and social events as well as floral design.
