Music and Medicine at Mount Sinai Music and Medicine at Mount Sinai provides free concerts to patients of the Mount Sinai Hospital and residents of the East Harlem Community.

Our mission: To enrich the lives of patients and staff at the Mount Sinai Hospital with the joys of live music. About the Mount Sinai Guggenheim Pavilion (where most performances take place):
--Designed by I.M. Pei (Louvre Pyramid)
--Ground level populated by indoor trees
--Beautifully resonant, church-like acoustics
--Typically noiseless environment

Why you should participate:
--Inspire patients

and staff with the sound of music
--Get performance experience in a stress-free setting
--Play for or with your friends
--Enjoy the unique resonance of the Pavilion

Who can participate:
--Solo or chamber groups of any instrument or voice
--Musicians of all ages
--Professionally-trained musicians receive remuneration of $75-100 per performance

Additional information:
--A grand piano is available for use
--Please bring your own music stand
