We provide dj entertainment services for your event I have loved music for as long as i can remember. I bought my first record at the age of 10. That was 1985.

That was the beginning of what would become a life long passion for me. Next I was making "mixed tapes", and before i knew it got a job at my first "house party". Combine that with my passion for playing the trum

pet in the NYC ALL CITY BAND and John Dewey HS Jazz Ensemble, and my eyes were opened to a whole world of music beyond what I learned from my Brooklyn, N.Y. roots. Over the years I have provided music for thousands of parties, each one giving me the experience to learn and become better. Sometimes making mistakes along the way but always learning from them. Over the years I have taken what was once a teenager's hobby to a thriving business. Almost 30 years later, I am still as passionate about what I do as the day I bought my first 45rpm record. I have seen the industry change music formats multiple times, from vinyl to cassette to CD, back to vinyl to MP3. At the age of 43 I still enjoy providing music and MC services for parties and events of all kinds. I keep my music current by subscribing to DJ music pools that provide me with all of today's current hits. The music I play at family and corporate parties is carefully screened so that censored versions are played so as not to offend anyone. I maintain liability insurance and backup equipment. The term "DJ" is a very loose term. Anyone who buys some basic cheap equipment and copies someone's hard drive can become a DJ. But when hiring a dj you need to ask:

Is the DJ insured? Does the DJ use professional quality audio equipment? Will the DJ be properly dressed? Will he be on time? Is he polite? Will he cooperate with my other vendors and check his ego at the door? What about his music knowledge? . Can my DJ read a crowd? Will he play the music I want to hear and make any necessary announcements? Can he speak clearly and intelligently on the microphone? I think you get the point.
