I would give it 10 stars if I could!!! We hosted my son's bar mitzvah party at Taj Lounge and it was literally PERFECT! We had the MOST AMAZING NIGHT!!! Christopher runs the tightest ship and left no stone unturned! Service, food, drinks were all fabulous. Our guests were complimenting everything all night and the next day! Next time I have an event to host Chris will be my first call!

Recently hosted an Amazon event at the Taj Lounge and couldn't be more pleased. Christopher and his team were incredibly accommodating, ensuring our every request was met promptly and with a smile. The venue itself is stunning, the food was delightful, and the drinks were expertly crafted. Without hesitation, we'll be choosing Taj Lounge for all our future events.

Taj Lounge was a remarkable venue for a party for our daughter. Everything was planned and executed without a hitch. The food was delicious (especially the skirt steak crisps my favorite) and our guests were impressed. The service was impeccable and the venue for a lot of energetic kids was perfect with a great dance floor for both adults and children. I highly recommend checking out Taj for a special occasion. You will be as wowed as we were.

We just hosted my daughter's bat mitzvah at Taj and could not be happier! The event was an absolute blast and everything went smoothly and exactly as planned, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy ourselves. Chris at Taj is amazing - he's a pleasure to work with and was on top of everything from start to finish. The food and drinks were great, the space worked perfectly for our large crowd, and the staff were fantastic. My daughter, her friends and all our friends and family had an amazing time!

I held my staff end of the year party at Katra, my staff of teachers are still talking about the fun, the service, and how lit it was. We were pleased with everything, the catering was great and extremely professional. We ate more food then we could hold and so many people took food home. The bartenders were awesome and attentive to the needs of all staff members. We were able to have our own private space downstairs and bring our own Dj. We anticipate that we will absolutely be going back to Katra for our end of term party! You can’t ask for more when it comes to service!

We hosted our company party here and needless to say we had the best time ever! Chris made it all work so smoothly and Temi the manager accommodated our every need. The food/drinks and staff were wonderful and the DJ played great music. I would definitely recommend this place. Looking forward to another great time.

Definitely surpassed my expectation!
Thanks again for making our event a great one!

I selected Taj Lounge to hold our High School Reunion for approximately 150 people. It was my first time being the main point person for such a thing. I believe Christopher and his staff sensed my worry, and he immediately put my mind at ease by reassuring me that everything will be awesome. And sure enough, months later, the event was amazingly successful, and the joy was apparent on everyone’s faces. The Taj space is beautiful, elegant and spacious. The restrooms were immaculate. The wait staff, bartenders, and maintenance staff were polite and professional. The DJ., Fat Fingaz, had every single person jumping and dancing, knowing exactly what genre of music to get us going. The food was delicious and the drinks were tasty. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Best place!! We had our son's bar mitzvah here. It was half kids half adults and a FANTASTIC party for all! Everyone had the best time and the manager Chris made everything smooth and stress free. We loved the atmosphere. We didn't need to bring extra decorations because it already looked great! The food and staff were amazing and everything ran so smoothly. We loved the drinks too. I can't recommend this place enough! Even afterwards Chris was sending photos and videos of our night. He is fantastic. Highly recommend for any event!

We had a party here for about 110 people for my daughter's bat mitzvah. Chris made the planning and the event itself a wonderful experience. He was a joy to work with - quick to respond, happy to comply with our wishes, organized, and full of great ideas. He went above and beyond in his efforts to make the party exactly what my daughter wanted. The suggestions he made for DJ and emcee were also excellent. He handled every detail all night so seamlessly that I actually got to fully enjoy the party, and he has a friendly, helpful staff. I would give Taj extra stars if I could!

Wow!! What a great place. Had 40th high school reunion at TAJ. The service was outstanding The manager Chris was amazing. Anything we requested he provided it. We asked for certain drinks and menu and was very pleased with his input. Also late need for a DJ and he was there to help The staff was also very good. They made all feel so special Rachel and Andy served drinks lightning fast and kept the glasses full. Any and all needs were met. I would highly recommend this place when you are considering renting a place

Had a great experience here with Christopher and the whole team while planning a buyout for a work event. Very reasonably priced and delicious food!! Drinks were flowing and our guests had an amazing time. Would love to return!

We had our sons bar mitvah at Taj Lounge. it could not have been better! The manager Christoper could not have been easier and more accomodating to work with. He was my party planner! the food was fantastic, the space worked out great for our size party (about 135 people) and my guests kept commenting what a great space it was. The decor there was cool and was a fun vibe with the colorful posts all around the room that glow in any color you want. The drinks were great too :). I absolutely would recommend having an event at Taj!!!

We hosted our 8th grade graduation here. Christopher was so helpful in working with us to keep within our budget. The space was great. Food was great. Kids especially loved the ice cream station. Perfect spot to celebrate!

I had the opportunity to host 2 private events at Taj Lounge. I worked with Christopher Collins, the events director at Taj, to plan our events. He was quick with responding to emails and always available for us to come in person for meetings and to set up.

Taj is overall a great venue. It is a large space and comfortably fit our 230+ guests. It also has a open layout, which gave us a lot of flexibility in creating a space that met our vision. We did not have to do much with planning because everything that we needed for our events was provided by the venue in our event package, including the security, coat check, DJ, other entertainment, bartenders, and bathroom attendants. The venue is very clean and the decor is beautiful. The pricing is also the best that I have seen for an open bar in New York City. I cannot speak on the catering Taj that can provide though, as I used a private Kosher catering company.

Given the ease of planning formal events at Taj, all of our guests enjoying themselves, and the wonderful pricing, Taj has become our go to for all of our future events.

We had our son's bar mitzvah at Taj in February and it was incredible. Chris, our Taj event manager, was wonderful to work with, accommodating and incredibly nice. Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed in the planning phase as well as night of. Everything Chris planned with us was fantastic. Taj looked amazing and it felt like a NYC club yet perfect for hosting friends and family for our son's special celebration night. the food was delicious and plentiful, drinks were great and Chris ensured every detail was taken care of. we are so glad we chose Taj and recommend it to anyone planning a special event. amazing venue, great vibe, quality and tasty food, and great location.

I had the pleasure of working with Taj Lounge for our company holiday party and they truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the very beginning, the team was professional, attentive and detail-oriented. They took the time to understand my needs and went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly.
The venue itself was absolutely stunning and created the perfect ambiance for my event. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. I was impressed with how seamlessly everything was executed, from the set up to the clean up.
I highly recommend Taj Lounge for any event, big or small. Their team is exceptional and they truly care about their clients. Thank you to the entire team for making my holiday party one to remember!

With over a decade in the event industry I have had the pleasure of working with some amazing people and some amazing venues , and Chris and his team at TAJ II is honestly one of my go to’s on my list. Let’s start with the outside and work our way in, with the bright windows and digital display we see our companies logo at the window allowing for those waiting for their plus 1s or friends to snap a few selfies outside. We then make our way to to a bright smile at coat check and a even brighter smile at the host station greeting us and our colleagues into the venue .
The venue was extremely well lit with bright reds and blue , a bar that was like a well oiled machine cranking out cocktails for our massive group of attendees . One main point that we loved was the way the whole crew was meshed. Every team member from the bar tenders to the floor crew and staff were all working in harmony. Everyone was willing to help one another to ensure our guest were taken care of . It was an powerful night as this was the first time many of us got together since the pandemic and for some the first time getting together with some of us that have been in the company longer. To new friends and old ones a cheers ! Thank you Chris for all of your help , your team and your venue.

My company had our holiday party at Taj II this year, and it was absolutely spot on! Christopher is so easy to communicate with, and he made sure everything was just right. Service was attentive and accommodating, coordination with our entertainment was seamless, everyone loved the food, and the space was perfect for our needs. We were about 80 people, and there was plenty of space to spare - room to dance, room to schmooze by the bar, and plenty of room for those who just wanted to sit down and eat. I got nothing but positive feedback on the event. We will come back!

Unbelievable event. We just finished our bat Mitzvah and honestly, it was the best party the kids, and many adults have ever been to. Christopher was an incredible manager and he made every moment perfect and special. From the hour we fist spoke about what our vision was for the party and ceremony, to the end, he made it happen.
The food was quite excellent and we are serious food people and like to be critics. The decor was elegant, yet youthful and amazing for photos. Chris, stepped in and orchestrated all the outside vendors, and made the day flow beautifully and seemless.
I can't recommend the venue more for a party and we also had our religious ceremony there and it was great. We had just over 100 people and it felt full, but we could have added many more. I was hesitant that it would be too loud, but the adults were great because the acoustics in the room are very good. We even forgot to bring certain things, and Chris calmly figured it all out.
Amazing night and fabulous place.

Had the pleasure of presenting Ximena Lamadrid the 2022 Granite Award for the Motion Picture Arts as an Actor - her work on and off set is stellar, passionate, inspired and deeply personal - her work in is vulnerable, on the edge, playful and always unexpected in the best way. 3 seasons of “Who Killed Sara” span such range of character and challenge. Congratulations, I hope everyone sees “BARDO” movie while in theaters as it is a poetically cinematic joy to see on the big screen from it’s historical and dramatic vision of Mexica, Mexico City and the dramas ‘false truths’ and questions director poses for himself via his characters and his on screen family of which , Ximena and and cast draw us in for the ride!

We had our company anniversary party here a few weeks back . Chris Collins (of Taj) literally took care of everything and the party was a HUGE success! Chris coordinated everything so that on the night of the event there was nothing for us to do but enjoy each other! The food was on point and plenty of it! - the staff was responsive and didn't miss a beat! I can't recommend highly enough! The Taj is perfect as an event space ! We can't thank Taj and Chris enough for a successful and memorable evening!
