Hiring a videographer;
I’ve been a videographer for over 24 years and I love to be able to share with you my company and those others you’ve heard of and compare. Here are some things to know me and other videographer a little better:
* The demo reel is the last thing you should look at. Most demo reels tell you how well they do filming and that makes them look good. Many profesional videographers are too busy to have one made or to keep it updated. I want to do more than give you a good wedding video. I want you to feel joyful and enjoy your day with love.
* How comfortable is my conversation? Videographers need to be able to direct people for the best results and should be able to make pleasant and engaging conversation. I often set myself a tone of a shoot, so you don’t want someone who’s nervous with nothing to say or someone who drives the entire conversation. Look for confidence with a lack of ego.
* Curiosity is key. A good videographer will ask a lot of questions and will listen well. They know that their job is to tell your story and make your vision come to life.
* Experience counts...a lot! As I’ve told you earlier I have over 24 years of experience and An experienced videographer will know the right questions to ask to get to the heart of the story you want to create for your wedding day.
* Get referrals. It’s important to talk with people who have had a positive experience with the videographer you’re considering.
Video shoots almost always go well with a videographer who has a balanced blend of technical skill, interpersonal skills and positive personal values. After all, we are many. So how do we come to that conclusion who my wedding videographer will be? Pay more attention to whom you hire and less attention to how they sale their product. Thank you, and let me know when is best to communicate with you to make things easier for you so I may be your wedding day videographer.
