Hearts are heavy, and eyes are filled with tears because we put one of our beloved family members to rest minutes ago. Joab, otherwise called Job, are biblical names of our Husky who came into our home about 15 years ago. He brought happiness, laughers, smiles, unconditional love, and protection. Joad lived up to his name because Job was a fierce defender of his home and owners, and in his last days, Job endured some suffering due to bone cancer that made him lose full strength in his right back leg, which started affecting the other back leg. Even though in pain, Joab never lost his sense of humour because even before, I took him for our last walk this morning. He raised his left front leg for me to rub his belly, which was something he enjoyed. I will miss my AM and sometimes late-night walks especially seeing the excitement and fun you had when it snowed. Aliyah will miss you. More than most, Dianne will miss you even though you caused her to fall more than once, with one fall leading to her having two heart surgeries. Even so, she loved you so much that she spoiled you with treats, and the next thing we knew, you weighed over 75 lbs. Along your life journey, we made a lot of new friends/neighbours who will miss you too; your pet buddies will miss you as well, but you know who won't miss you! The Mail Carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) won't miss you because they were terrified of you when you barked at them from behind the door. Thank You, Lord, for blessings us with Job!
