Wise words in a time when they are needed most.

Hello everyone!
As we have noted in many of our initial Facebook and Instagram posts, community is one of the main driving forces behind Latchkey Deli.
Community can be defined in numerous ways for different people - but for us as a company, the most important aspects revolve around inclusion - allowing everyone equal space, thought, and care.
To that end, we want you to know that as business owners and longtime members of this town, that's a responsibility that we're taking head on - and that means the following for us:
1. We stand in solidarity with Black Lives Matter and numerous other organizations that support marginalized folks - LGBTQIA, Black, Brown, Differently abled, Houseless, Immigrants, and anyone else who has felt the burden of racism, sexism, classism, xenophobia, or bigotry of any kind.
2. We will never tolerate discrimination of any kind within our community, or within our walls.
3. We recognize that systemic injustices and inequality are a part of day to day life, and we aim to combat these in any way possible while also recognizing our privileges within this system.
4. We will protect and promote a safe space for our customers and employees.
5. If you don't like our stance, there are multitudes of restaurants in our city that will gladly take your money and placate you. We simply don't believe that the best business policy is to be apolitical, apathetic, or complicit so we can chase a buck - not when so many people are living in fear or worse, dying for simply existing.

We're doing drop off packages so you can make sure your Super Bowl party is the second biggest win of the day and the only thing you'll have to worry about is how much we'll be leading off by in the second half!

I know I know. It’s been a while. Here is something I whipped up inspired by Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive called Chouta. Marinated and grilled shrimps, curry veggies, crisp celery with fresh from the garden chives and basil, chipotle mayo, hummus, pickles onions, and horsey sauce all wrapped up in toasted flatbread. A lot of flavors but boy howdy was it tasty.

In the spirit of the season I’m doing some spicy pumpkin sauce wings today. NOT pumpkin spice wings, I’m talking way too spicy pumpkin sauce on the wings yo. Come on by and try some out. Oh. It’s also $.50 a wing, did I️ mention that?

It's hump day again. Womp womp. But I have a treat for any brave folks willing to go out and about. I call it "The Midnight Cowboy One Hump and Done" burger. A single paty burger smashed over thin sliced onions and grilled, topped with Cowboy Pimp Cheese (cheddar, blue cheese, jalapeños, bacon) and chipotle bbq sauce. With fries and a beer for $8, can't beat that folks. So come on by and give this cowboy a ride!

It's Freakin Friday Folks and I'm spreading it in today. Gravy that is. Meet my new friend the Poutine Burger: 2 moist brisket beef burgers and a pile of shoestring cut potaters all smothered in mushroom and bacon gravy, topped with shredded jack and cheddar and citrus haricot vert. $12.

I'm not fooling around here, this gravy is made of buttered mushrooms, hardwood smoked bacon, bacon fat, roasted garlic, home made pork stock and whole milk. It's crazy. Hook it strait to my veins!

Hey-o all! It's Fridaynight again and that means I'm rolling out another decadent blast of juicy burger in your face hole. Get a bib ready bc this one is juicy.
Introducing the Luau Burger: two moist brisket patties, smoked ham, melted Swiss, grilled pineapple, Rumions and Luau Sauce (roasted mango and pineapple, blistered sweet and spicy peppers, coconut and lime. Perfect combo of hot and sweet. Come on by and get your groove on with this burger.

Hey folks. Just a little teaser for what's coming up this Saturday for brunch at Dromedary Bar. A little thing I like to call "Brunch Burger" or "Heart Attack Snack" or "Just F ' Amazballz:" a grilled doughnut courtesy of local bakery Dough, sandwiched with two moist brisket burgers, bacon, cheese, Rumions and Flamingo sauce. We will be getting fresh doughnuts so we only have a limited amount. Get one whilst it's dripping with rum juices.
