Beautiful show tonite by my bosom buddy Linda Purl at 54 Below with the one and only Billy Stritch as MD. Such a welcome
Lovely night of jazz favorites sung from the heart and wow what a show woman Linda is!!! Not to mention she looks stunning and sounds like a million bucks. Of course I loved hearing her sing “If he walked into my life” which she has made her own but I think my fave was “You’ve got possibilities” from Superman. Yeah not something you’d expect in a jazz set! And again she made it her own in a bit about our battles with self loathing and self acceptance. Such a great night! Brava Linda!!!
