The bride shares the stunning details and intentions behind every choice made for her french countryside wedding.

“As an architect, I was eager to find a venue which excelled in traditional French Regency design, making the interiors of the space just as important and beautiful as the exterior,” Alexandra shared in the exclusive.

As for the gown, “with the help of her mother, mother-in-law, and sister, Alexandra found the dress at Mark Ingram Atelier in New York—just the sixth one she tried on. ‘We all knew it was the one immediately,’ she recalls. The lace design featured a high-neck look with long sleeves that felt suited to the tradition of the venue. ‘I never felt more myself than in my dress.’ The bridal designer, Ines Di Santo, shares Italian-Canadian heritage with the groom, which made wearing one of her designs even more special.”

From getting ready to getting married, Annabel’s styling was nothing short of ‘classic bridal.’

Annabel chose a modern and elegant ‘Brio’ gown with a lace trimmed veil paired with pearl statement earring to her Bermudian wedding last summer.

There backyard ceremony was just the start of personal touches, wearing a veil made by her fiancé’s mother using peals from her own mother’s wedding dress. And one of the most meaningful touches Stef shared was the involvement of her grandparents who lovingly made all of the pasta shells for the dinner’s second course. His grandmother wrote the menus and even added a little illustration followed by a night of dancing, espresso martinis and late-night gelato.

Something “YOU” — making your wedding day truly special is also making your day truly personal. Our brides always amaze us with their details and Jackie and Jake’s Montauk garden party still has us discovering NEW touches we didn’t see the first hundred times before.

The French blue tulle custom ‘Paulette’ gown for starters. The sequin hydrangeas veil and heart shaped sunglasses, of course. The striped aisle, her flower dogs, the decadent tomato 🍅 seating card display… it’s all too good!

The bride shared with she thought “how joyful and whimsical can we make the weekend?” and I think we can safely say— mission achieved.

The couple married this past fall in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina, merging nuances of southern charm, their family heritages and even the scallop details of her wedding gown into her “perfect day.”

“Our wedding day was a beautiful day, truly so special. It may sound cheesy but me and this dress truly had a soul connection. From the Italian embroidered scallop pattern (reminiscent of my designs as a young girl and inspired by the Chrysler building), to the covered buttons, the unique horsehair detail, and the train we extended 14 inches - I absolutely loved my dress.”

Something old, something new — the bridal tradition that gets reinvented every weekend when a new brides adds a symbolic meaning to each token of luck, love and of course everlasting happiness. Our bride Landin chose a unique ‘something borrowed’ that was introduced to us early on, her mother’s shoes.

Handmade Peter Fox satin bridal shoes that Landin fit perfectly and that complimented her gown even more, choosing an ivory silk mikado ballgown with sage taping at the straps and grand back-bow.
