Thank you The NYTimes for a Wonderful Listings!!

As part of its Eclectic Series, Bargemusic, a floating concert hall near the Brooklyn Bridge, hosts instrumentalists who place a special focus on contemporary repertoire. The violinist Colin Jacobsen can often be heard in pathbreaking ensembles like the Brooklyn Rider string quartet or the Knights, an orchestra he co-founded. Vicky Chow is the pianist in the Bang on a Can All-Stars as well as a solo recitalist. (Chow was part of a great All-Stars set with Meredith Monk at the Long Play festival earlier this month — and she also just released a winning set of music for piano and electronics by the composer Cassie Wieland.)

On Sunday afternoon, Jacobsen and Wang will collaborate on a program of solos and duos. He will take on Jessie Montgomery’s Rhapsody No. 2; she will perform Philip Glass’s Etude No. 12. Together, the pair will interpret works by Judd Greenstein, Dmitri Yanov-Yanovsky, Paula Matthusen and Debussy. Tickets are $35 and are available on Bargemusic’s website. SETH COLTER WALLS
